In September 2017, the Board of Regents approved theÌý°ÄÃÅÌØÂëÍõ Next Generation Learning Standards for English Language Arts, which will becomeÌýeffective at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year for grades PK-8. TheÌý2010 P-12 Learning Standards for English Language Arts & Literacy will remain effective for grades 9-12.
