Chapter 53 of the Laws of 2023 appropriates $50 million for additional prekindergarten grants for school districts to establish New Full-Day Placements or for the Conversion of Half-Day Placements to Full-Day Placements for four-year-old students in accordance with applicable provisions in Education Law Section 搂3602-ee governing Statewide Universal Full-Day Prekindergarten (搂3602-ee).

The 澳门特码王 (NYSED) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) # GC 23-021.听NYSED will award up to $50 million to fund grants听for 澳门特码王 school districts to further increase the availability of directly and collaboratively implemented prekindergarten programming. Programming must be aligned with applicable 澳门特码王 Learning Standards along with relevant听Education Law 搂3602-ee听requirements and address student and community need.听For the purposes of this grant and pursuant to听8 NYCRR 151-1, during the 2023-2024 school year, awarded school districts will have the option to operate a full-day four-year-old prekindergarten program for a minimum of 90 days. Otherwise, awarded school districts will be able to operate a 180-day program during the 2024-2025 school year.
