DESCRIPTION:
The State Literacy and Basic Education for Public Assistance Recipients Program, also referred to as the Welfare Education Program (WEP), provides funding for adult education programs for individuals receiving public assistance.Ìý Eligible agencies include school districts and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
